Today a got SMS. bad news... Our office mate had accident ?? I don't beliave coz we just chit-chat at office  yesterday.  When arriving at office... all friend talk about it... huuh ... maybe it right...

Kakitangan Perangkaan maut Kancil dirempuh lori tangki

SEREMBAN 2 Dis. - Seorang kakitangan Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia Selangor maut setelah kereta yang dipandunya terbabas sebelum dirempuh sebuah lori tangki di Kilometer 11.2, Jalan Seremban-Mantin di sini malam tadi.

Dalam kejadian kira-kira pukul 11.15 malam itu, mangsa, Muhamad Mohd. Rashid, 25, dikatakan dalam perjalanan dari arah Seremban menghala ke Mantin sebelum kereta Perodua Kancil yang dipandunya hilang kawalan.

Menurut jurucakap polis, kenderaan Muhamad dikatakan berpusing sebelum dilanggar oleh sebuah lori tangki yang datang dari arah bertentangan.

"Berikutan pelanggaran itu, kereta yang dipandu oleh mangsa terputus dua manakala lori tangki berkenaan terbakar. Pemandu lori berkenaan bagaimanapun sempat menyelamatkan diri.

"Mangsa ditemui tersepit di bahagian belakang kereta berkenaan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian akibat kecederaan parah di kepala dan badan selain melecur akibat kebakaran," katanya.

Berikutan kejadian itu, sepasukan Bomba dan Penyelamat dari Balai Seremban 2 dan Mantin bergegas ke tempat kejadian bagi membantu memadamkan kebakaran selain mengeluarkan mangsa yang tersepit.

Sementara itu, Ketua Polis Daerah Seremban, Asisten Komisioner Saiful Azly Kamaruddin yang mengesahkan kejadian itu berkata, pihaknya masih lagi menyiasat punca nahas berkenaan.

Kata beliau, mayat mangsa dihantar ke Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar untuk bedah siasat sebelum dituntut keluarganya hari ini.

"Polis difahamkan, pemandu lori tangki terlibat sedang dirawat di hospital yang sama dan kita akan mengambil keterangannya sebaik sahaja dia pulih.

"Pada masa yang sama, orang ramai yang mempunyai maklumat mengenai kemalangan itu diminta menghubungi polis bagi membantu siasatan," kata beliau.

The competition will be divided into two categories :

1. River Challenge on 14 Nov 2009

2. Rapids Challenge on 15 Nov 2009

In the River Challenge, participants have to complete the 32 km distance from Kampung Puom to The Triang Gilir Headworks.

In the Rapids Challenge participants are expected to encounter four rapids i.e. Kekabu Rapids, Tedung Rapids, Tupat Rapids and Lesung Rapids and the starting point is from Kampung Esok. Heats will be held and only 10 of the best time will be chosen for the finalist.

The important part in this event is communication and organize by Negeri Sembilan Radio Amateur Club.

Few day I'm too busy learn about something " satellite tracking "... hak hak hak. I'm newbies on this thing... First I surf internet emm what find some thing, KU Band and C Band....Ahh... So right now I know that Astro used KU Band and receiving signal from Measat 3a. with ehem ehem Freq...What IS geostationary satellite??... A geostationary satellite is any satellite which is placed in a geostationary orbit. Satellites in geostationary orbit maintain a constant position relative to the surface of the earth. Geostationary satellites do this by orbiting the earth approximately 36,000 and more.. Hik hik hik or we can say it move round Earth at same speed as the Earth turns so it is always overhead with same area in view. This allows for a larger viewing area but the images are in less detail due to the greater distance.
